With exception of Aspen, Vail stands out with more dining options than any other U.S. ski resort. Options for the Eagle County resort community range from pricey to easier-on-the-pocketbook, but don’t look for cheap. Restaurants dotting the mountain do a booming business for breakfast, lunch and apre ski, and dinner. Bars buzz at night, with locals and tourists mingling over libations and late evening noshes, often near inviting fireplaces. Dining choices also abound at nearby Summit County resort areas such as Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone.
